The second round of the SA Boys U17 was a real challenge for the players. A very cold morning with a 3 to 4 club wind greeted the players and by late morning it had also started to rain. Jethro Newton again got off to a slow start and turned 5 over par but he managed to come back in level par to lie tie 10th after 2 rounds. Antoine Sale is a shot behind tied 12th and Calvin Maia is tied 22nd. Interesting to note that despite the higher scores the boys did not lose much ground. We wish them good golf in the final round tomorrow.9
