One of the many fun and challenging components of the KeNako Holiday Golf Camp is the different golf courses the campers get to play.  The Southern Cape has some of the best courses in the South Africa and the campers got to enjoy three of them during the 5 days they were here.

They played Mossel Bay (well known for its coastline views – the sea can be seen from every hole on the golf course; and the 4 species of Springbok they have on the course); George Golf Course which is a wonderful parkland golf course over 100 years old; and Kingswood Golf Estate with its challenging bunkers and superb greens.

On top of playing these wonderful courses they had their swings analyzed and corrected during sessions on the range.  Short game skills were not forgotten and the campers enjoyed a basic short game competition which they can use at their home courses to determine if their short games are improving with practice.

There were 20 youngsters on the Camp and they had new four ball partners to play with every day, allowing them to meet like minded youngsters and to hopefully make new friends which is one of the ideas behind the Camp.  Some of the campers improved quite dramatically over the 5 days with Connor Beauchamp winning the final day Individual Stableford on 41 points closely followed by Naledi Qubu with 40 points.

Congratulations guys and girls and well done to all participants on their wonderful attitude and spirit which contributed to a fantastic Holiday Camp.
