Kingswood Golf Estate hosted the latest KeNako Junior Series event on a cold and windy Sunday. The Southern Cape has had so much rain this winter which contributed to the course playing its maximum length so a challenging day for the players. All the players struggled on the day except for young Dylan Lamb who won the Best Nett on the day with a score of 88 gross for a nett 72 – well played Dylan, great to see your enthusiasm.

The B Division was won by Nicholas Maritz with David Park in second place. Well done Nicholas.

The A Division was won by Phumlani Maluka after a count out against Johan Oosthuizen and Lydon Charnley who all shot 80. Phumlani enrolled at KeNako in January this year and he has shown steady progress over the past few months in all areas of his game which has contributed to his improved performances. Phumlani is another youngster with fantastic enthusiasm and KeNako’s head coach often thinks that enthusiasm is one of the key ingredients to face the challenges of being a tournament golfer – it gets one through the tough times and pushes you to keep on improving. Congratulations Phumlani and keep on working.
