||President of the World Junior Golf Series, Dr Susanna Rosswag is very excited about the KeNako SA World Juniors. “In a very short time this partner tournament of the World Junior Series has become a very prestigious event, not only in South Africa, but also throughout the world. Under the sponsorship and direction of KeNako Golf & Sports Academy and the patronage of Retief Goosen, a world class championship event has found its home in Goerge, South Africa!”
|Tournament Director, Erica Lefson, is very pleased with the 2013 entries. “The field of international players has grown each year and 2013 is the first year when we will have more international players competing than South Africans! South Africa has a very strong entry, with the number 1 and number 2 ranked boys, Triston Lawrence and Tristan Strydom, travelling to George to compete for this prestigious title. The girls’ field is headed by Lara Weinstein, who will be defending her 2012 title. Lara was South Africa’s number 1 junior golfer in 2012 and she currently has a ranking of 7 on the World Junior Golf Ranking for Girls. Also competing for girls’ honours are current junior girls number 1 Cara Gorlei, closely followed on the rankings by Bianca Theron, Michaela Fletcher and Magda Kruger.”
