Congratulations to Derick Petersen on finishing 2nd in the Vodacom Origins Pinnacle Point, his best result to date on the Sunshine Tour. Only 3 players managed to break par for the tournament. Derick was back training at the KeNako Academy a couple of weeks ago and it is really good to see him playing well. Aidan Boon played very good golf in extremely challenging winds to finish 2nd in the Kingswood Open. Twin brother Caylum Boon also played well, being 1 stroke behind Aidan in 3rd Place in this Southern Cape 36 hole Strokeplay championship. Well played Aidan and Caylum!
Old Boy Breyten Meyer finished 2nd in the Sunshine Tour’s Sibaya Challenge that was played at Mount Edgecombe Country Club. Breyten finished with a final round 70 to lose by just 1 stroke. The winner Louis de Jager birdied the final 2 holes to beat Breyten, who now moves up to 31st on the Sunshine Tour Order of Merit.
